Théophile Lemaire

Théophile Lemaire (* 1865 ; † 1943 ) was a stamp dealer and philatelist in Paris .

He began trading with stamps from around 1885 and soon became one of the well-known dealers in the field. He employed 30 people. Lemaire was a stamp collector, exhibited his stamps at exhibitions and was awarded many prizes. He also published albums, catalogs and a philatelic magazine called Le Philatélist Français.
