Thames Skiff

A Thames Skiff is an English type of boat. A Thames Skiff is a traditional rowing boat for sculling , as it has been built as a planked wooden boat for more than 200 years . It originally came from the Thames and is still used there today as an excursion and racing boat.

The oldest actively used Thames Skiff in Germany has been located in Mülheim an der Ruhr since 2008. It was built by Tom Tagg & Son in 1880 on the Thames island of Tagg's Island near Hampton Court Palace , England.
