Thamir Abbas Ghadban

Thamir Abbas Ghadban ( Arabic ثامر عباس غضبان, DMG Ṯāmir ʿAbbās Ġaḍbān ; * April 1945 in the ruined city of Babylon , Iraq ) is an Iraqi politician and was oil minister in the Iraqi interim government .

Life

He studied geology at University College in London and graduated there - as in oil management studies at Imperial College (also London). He was involved in more than 50 studies on Iraq's oil reserves. Because he advocated democratic reforms , he had been removed from his post by the previous regime .
