That's Amore (German: That's love ) is a song composed by Harry Warren in 1952 with the lyrics by Jack Brooks . The song was released in the 1953 movie The Clumsy . It received an Oscar nomination for the version sung by Dean Martin .

The song reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. That's Amore became his signature song for Dean Martin . In the list of the best-selling singles in the USA (1954) the song reached number 16. It was covered by many other musicians, so in 1960 by Connie Francis and in 1976 by Bobby Vinton . The song was also used in Moonstruck , a 1987 American romantic comedy film starring Cher and Nicolas Cage .
