The 88 is an American indie pop group from Los Angeles , California, founded in 2003 . It consists of the musicians Adam Merrin, Keith Slettedahl and Anthony Zimmitti.
They have released five albums so far and are particularly common in the soundtrack of films or TV series.
The 88 made an appearance on the first season of How I Met Your Mother , where they were considered as a band for Lily and Marshall's wedding.
