Krytyka Polityczna ("Political Criticism", KP) is a Polish magazinefounded in2002 by Sławomir Sierakowski , which isattributed tothe new left .

So far, larger institutions (świetlice) have been founded in Cieszyn , Łódź and in the greater Gdansk area, as well as smaller “clubs” in 15 other locations. In spring 2011, the first clubs outside of Poland opened in London and Kiev .

Since 2012, KP has published new reports and longer opinions several times a day on the main page of its Internet portal under the title Dziennik Opinii (“daily opinion newspaper”). For this project she receives support from the Trust for Civil Society in Central and Eastern Europe and the Open Society Foundations from George Soros as well as funding from the Polish Ministry of Culture .

At the end of 2012, KP founded the Instytut Studiów Zaawansowanych (for example, “Institute for Higher Studies”) for research and political education, based on the model of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton .
