The Annoying Orange (English for The annoying Orange ) is a US-based web series by Dane Boedigheimer, under the pseudonym "Daneboe" on the video sharing website YouTube . The television series The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange has been based on this since 2012 .
The main role is played by an anthropomorphic orange called Annoying Orange (often simply referred to as "orange"), which is annoying to fruits, vegetables and other objects.
The Annoying Orange is dubbed by Boedigheimer himself.
action
Orange lives in a kitchen with his best friend Pear , a Williams-Christ pear, which Dane Boedigheimer also gave her vote. Other fruits in the kitchen include passion , a feminine passion fruit played by Justine Ezarik, a grapefruit , a very small apple known as a midget apple , a small marshmallow, and an aged lemon called grandpa lemon . Most of the episodes are about Orange annoying a guest character who is annoyed by it and cannot escape a sudden and brutal death.
Characters
- Orange is the protagonist and main character of the series, he has appeared since the series began on October 9, 2009. He has yellow teeth, gray eyes and a piercing smile. Boedigheimer describes the character as a mixture of people from his life, "Everyone knows somebody like him: They don't listen, they are annoying, and at the same time they are kind of lovable".
- Pear is a Williams-Christ pear and he lives in the same kitchen as Orange , his best friend. Despite their friendship, Orange often gets on his nerves. Pear tries to maintain control with the others and is shown in the series, in contrast to Orange , as much more intelligent.
- Passion Fruit , or simply Passion , first appeared on February 19, 2010 in the episode Passion of the Fruit . She is annoyed by frequent insults, tries to get Orange not to get on everyone's nerves and berates the other fruits from the kitchen. Orange is carried away by passion , which she doesn't know. Passion has a twin sister named Mandy who is in love with Pear .
- Midget Apple first appeared in the episode Crabapple . He is a Red Delicious - apple and friend of Orange , Pear , Passion and especially marshmallow , where he will be called hates "Midget Apple" (he prefers the name Little Apple ).
- Marshmallow made his debut in the episode Annoying Saw 2: The Annoying Death Trap on September 24, 2010. The gender Marshmallow was expressed as male ("He is cute") in a video from June 5, 2012 (Marshmellow Intro). He is small, childlike and has a very squeaky voice. Marshmallow is usually portrayed as very serene and happy and claims to love "puppies and unicorns and bunnies and rainbows and clouds and kittens and bunnies and rainbows".
- Grapefruit is orange's greatest enemy. Just like orange, it tries to impress Passion Fruit. Although he is cut up by a knife on his first appearance, he still appears in the later episodes because a mad scientist revived him as Frankenfruit together with Grandpa Lemon.
- Grandpa Lemon is an old lemon and first appeared in an episode of the same name. He often falls asleep briefly while talking, forgets what he was last doing and usually says “Whoa, where am I? ". Similar to "Grapefruit", Grandpa Lemon is also cut up on its first appearance (and pressed into a lemonade), but appears in later episodes.
