The Barbarians
The Barbarians was a garage rock band that in 1964 in Cape Cod ( Massachusetts was founded).
They landed a hit with the single Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl? . The band was led by one-handed drummer Victor "Moulty" Moulton. Moulton lost part of his left arm in an explosion at the age of fourteen. He therefore had a prosthesis on his left arm that allowed him to hold a drumstick.
They appeared on the famous TAMI TV program in October 1964 alongside the most famous artists of their time, the Beach Boys , Rolling Stones , James Brown , Marvin Gaye and many more.
The band broke up in 1966.
