The Barrytown Trilogy

Under the title The Barrytown Trilogy , the first three novels of the Irish writer Roddy Doyle are summarized, which were published in 1987, 1990 and 1991. Specifically, they are Die Commitments , The Snapper and the novel The Van . Several British publishers published the three novels as an anthology under the title The Barrytown Trilogy in the 1990s .

All three novels are set in the fictional Dublin suburb of Barrytown and illuminate the lives of various members of the Rabbitte family between 1987 and 1990.
