The Clan is a former Austrian pop rock - band of Ludwig Hirsch .
history
The band was founded under the name The Clan in 1967 by Peter Schleicher, together with Nowak & Hirsch.
After the dissolution in 1974:
- Ludwig Hirsch started a solo career and died of suicide in 2011 .
- From 1976 to 1978 Peter Schleicher was the pianist of No. 1 from the Vienna Woods . After successful years with his Peter Schleicher Band , he died in 2015 after a serious illness.
- Helmut Nowak was the drummer of No. 1 from the Vienna Woods .
