The Comet in Great Escape ( Queensbury , New York ) is a hybrid wooden roller coaster with a steel structure manufacturer's Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters with the serial number 112 , originally in the May 22, 1948 Crystal Beach ( Ontario was opened). She drove there until September 4, 1989, using part of the Crystal Beach Cyclones rails. It finally reopened in Great Escape on June 26, 1994.
The 1279 m long route describes a classic out-and-back layout with a maximum height of 29 m, as well as a descent of 27 m on which the trains reach a speed of around 89 km / h.
Trains
The Comet has two trains with four cars each. Six people (three rows of two people) can be seated in each car. The passengers must be at least 1.22 m tall to be allowed to ride. Individually locking lap bars are used as a restraint system.
