The Doublets are two rocky outcrops on the west side of David Island off the coast of Queen Marie Land in East Antarctica .
Members of the west base built on the Shackleton Ice Shelf during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered and named them.
