The Lady Stone

The Lady Stone (also called Ty-Meini or Yet-y-Bontbren) is a menhir ( English standing stone ) in a field on the A487 southwest of Dinas Cross near Fishguard in Pembrokeshire in Wales .

The stone, which some say resembles a veiled woman, is a menhir that tapers from base to tip and is believed to date from the Bronze Age (2300 to 800 BC). It is about 2.5 m high, 1.2 m wide and 0.9 m thick.

Nearby are the Dinas Cross Stone and the formerly wobbling Mynydd Dinas Rocking Stone.
