The Latino Rockabilly War

The Latino Rockabilly War were a British punk band. They acted primarily as a musical group in support of The Clash singer Joe Strummer . Together with Strummer took The Latino Rockabilly War a plate, Earthquake Weather , at Epic Records on. Despite positive reviews, the album did not sell well, and the band including Strummer lost their contract with Epic. Joe Strummer & The Latino Rockabilly War contributed five pieces to the soundtrack for the film Permanent Record , in which you can see a young Keanu Reeves , for: Trash City , Baby The Trans , Nothin '' Bout Nothin ' , Nefertiti Rock , and that instrumental theme song for the film, Permanent Record .

The group toured with Strummer on the Rock Against The Rich tour in 1988. Their list of songs at the time included tracks from Strummer's entire career, including tracks from The 101ers and The Clash , but also a cover version of The Pogues ' If I Should Fall From Grace With God .
