Da Lench Mob was an American hip hop group consisting of Shorty, J-Dee, and T-Bone.

Career

They first appeared on Ice Cube's album AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted . In 1992 their debut album Guerillas In Da Mist was released , which was produced by Ice Cube. The album impressed with socially critical songs and typical West Coast sound, with the title song of the same name (mainly because of the video) "Guerillas In Da Mist" achieved greater popularity. Da Lench Mob has been criticized frequently for the song "Buck Tha Devil" that allegedly promoted racism between blacks and whites (with the "Devil" Engl. For devil was referring to a white person).

In 1993, J-Dee was sentenced to life imprisonment for attempted murder. Then the label ended the collaboration with the rapper. J-Dee was then replaced by the Oakland rapper Maulkie.

In 1994, Da Lench Mob's last album, Planet Of Da Apes, was released . The band broke up shortly after the release.
