The Morphean is a metal band from Austria . Stylistically, the band can be assigned to modern modern death metal .
history
The Morphean was founded in 2004. In addition to the guitar runs, which were very melodic at the beginning, more and more Death Metal parts came over the years , as can be heard on the first EP Divine , released in early 2008 . In 2009 the studio of Soundspur Records recorded the debut album Enter the Illusion together with producer Martin Zeller , which was released in June 2010 via Refused Records . In 2010 the line-up also changed, since then Uli Meisinger (Black Velvet) has been the drummer of The Morphean. At the end of 2012 a new chapter in the band's history was opened with the single Crossroad and the next step in the musical development began. The line-up of the members could now be kept together for a long time, which can be clearly heard on the album "Mechanical", which will be released on June 1, 2014. The album, professionally produced by Philip Seidl ( Suiseidl Studios DE), brought in a record deal with Noisehead Records .
