The shuffles
The Shuffles were a Dutch pop group that was active from 1963 to 1973. They emerged from a school band. Lead singer was Albert West , bassist Hans van Liempt, guitarists were Jos Jansen (until 1969) and Henk van den Heuvel (from 1969), keyboard player was Hans Sleutjes and drummer Jan van Crey. The single Cha-La-La, I Need You (1969) was in the Dutch Top 40 for 19 weeks and was covered by other artists. a. of the Flippers , the Thorleifs and, as a reggae version, the Maytones . On August 22, 1999 the Shuffles gave a reunion concert in Rosmalen .
