List of universities in Palestine

This is a list of the universities in the Palestinian Territories . It includes the universities of the Gaza Strip and the West Bank . According to the European Institute for Research on Mediterranean and Euro-Arab Cooperation (MEDEA), there were eleven universities in the Israeli-occupied territories in 2000 . The University of Palestine was opened in 2003 as the twelfth university .
