The al-Azhar University of Gaza ( Arabic جامعة الأزهر بغزة Dschamiʿat al-Azhar bi-Ghazza , DMG Ǧāmiʿat al-Azhar bi-Ġazza ) in Gaza is a secular Palestinian university in the Palestinian Territories , built in 1991 . It goes back to the al-Azhar University in Cairo .
