The The Skye Museum of Iceland Life is a small open-air museum in Kilmuir on the peninsula Trotternish the Isle of Skye in Scotland . The museum consists of seven reconstructed cottages , some of which are set up as apartments and workshops, some with thematic exhibitions and in one case with a museum shop.

The Skye Museum of Island Life in Kilmuir shows how the people of Skye lived. This includes exhibits about houses - the Black Houses - work, religion, poverty and emigration as well as reconstructions and originals of huts and equipment. Flora MacDonald's grave lies in Kilmuir's cemetery .
