The Straits Times is a Singaporean English language newspaper published in broadsheet format . It is published by Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) and first appeared on July 15, 1845. It is the oldest and now the most important daily newspaper in Singapore and has a circulation of around 400,000 copies. Your Sunday edition is the Sunday Times .
