The first of seven seasons of the show aired from November 13, 2013 through December 18, 2013. The season was recorded in August 2013. It was moderated by Christine Henning. The jury consisted of the television chefs Alexander Herrmann, Frank Rosin, Léa Linster and Tim Mälzer.

Two candidates who qualified for this did not take part in the semifinals. According to the official representation by Sat.1, a doctor had forbidden them to continue participating in the show due to illness. They have been replaced by other chefs from the respective team who have already retired.

Felicitas Then from Tim Mälzer's team won the first season of the show.
