The Triplets ( English for The Triplets ) are three rocky outcrops in the north of David Island off the coast of the East Antarctic Queen Marie Land .
Members of the west base built on the Shackleton Ice Shelf during the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911-1914) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson discovered and named them.
