The Wheatsheaf is a restaurant in the Scottish town of Renfrew in the Renfrewshire Council Area . In 1980 the structure was included in the Scottish List of Monuments in Monument Category C.

The building is located at the confluence of Hairst Street ( A741 ), Canal Street and High Street ( A877 ) in downtown Renfrew, next to Renfrew City Hall and across from 1 High Street, another listed building . The year of construction is not recorded. The date of 1666 on the building comes from a previous building. The building has two floors and the upper floor is decorated with reliefs . The front facing south-east is symmetrical with a central entrance door crowned by a wooden triangular gable. The lattice windows are arranged on three vertical axes. The building closes with a gable roof . A restaurant is set up on the ground floor.
