The Thebäerstraße is a street in Trier in the district of North . It runs as an extension of Göbenstraße from the corner of Moltkestraße to Balthasar-Neumann-Straße .

The name of the street is reminiscent of the Thebaic Legion , out of which many Trier people were martyred in 286 .

Today the street partly follows the former Maximiner Allee. The northern section used to be called "Schöndorfer Straße".

There are seven cultural monuments in the street , including the parish church of St. Paulin . Most of the buildings are designed in the classicist and historicist styles.
