Theodosios I. Borradiotes
Theodosios I. Borradiotes (Greek Θεοδόσιος Α΄ Βορραδιώτης ) was Patriarch of Constantinople (1179-1183).
Theodosios came from Antioch . He lived as an ascetic .
In 1179 he became Patriarch of Constantinople. In 1183 the new emperor Andronikos I asked him to consent to the marriage of his daughter Irene to Alexios , a son of the previous emperor Manuel I Komnenos . Theodosios refused and was deposed in August.
