Chariton Eugeneiotes
Chariton Eugeneiotes (Greek Χαρίτων Ευγενειώτης ) was the patriarch of Constantinople (1177–1178).
Life
Chariton came from the influential Eugeniotes family. He was the hegumen of the St. George's Monastery in the Imperial Mangana Palace in Constantinople .
In 1177 (March / August) he became a patriarch. After eleven months in office, he died between February and July 1178.
