Thermann is a German noble family that has existed since 1790. During the imperial vicariate, Wilhelm Gottholf Thermann, who at that time was assessor at the Leipzig Higher Court and had shortly before acquired the Gollma manor , was given to Elector Friedrich August III on September 11, 1790 . Elevated from Saxony to the Reichs-Panner-Freiherrenstand.
