Thesaurismosis
A thesaurism (formerly thesaurosis ) - from Greek: thesaurisma (treasure, supply) - or storage disease is a metabolic disorder affecting synthesis or degradation . Each disease in this group causes an accumulation of a specific metabolic product with a specific distribution pattern in the body.
Storage diseases can be hereditary or be promoted by exogenous influences.
