The Thibièrge-Weissenbach syndrome is a special form of systemic sclerosis with calcium deposits in the skin , especially over the elbow and knee joint .

The name refers to the authors of the first description from 1910 by the French dermatologists Georges Thiebièrge (1856–1926) and RJ Weissenbach.

The disease is largely similar to the CREST syndrome , but has a less favorable course.
