Sembouès ( Gascon : Semboés) is a French municipality with 60 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the municipality of Bastides et Vallons du Gers .

geography

Sembouès is located around 20 kilometers southwest of Mirande and 26 kilometers northeast of Tarbes in the south of the Gers department on the border with the Hautes-Pyrénées department . The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The Arros forms the western municipal boundary in parts.

Neighboring communities are Ricourt in the north and north-east, Blousson-Sérian in the east and south-east, Cazaux-Villecomtal in the south, Buzon (in the Hautes-Pyrénées department) in the south-west and Saint-Justin in the west and north-west.
