Monlezun ( Gascon : Montlesun) is a French municipality with 199 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the municipality of Bastides et Vallons du Gers . The residents call themselves Monlezanais / Monlezanaises .

geography

Monlezun is located around kilometers northwest of Mirande and 32 kilometers northeast of Tarbes in the south of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The Arros forms the eastern municipality boundary in parts.

Neighboring communities are Laveraët in the north, Saint-Christaud in the north-east, Pallanne in the east, Tillac in the east and south-east, Troncens in the south, Blousson-Sérian in the south-west, Ricourt in the west and Marciac in the north-west.
