Préchac-sur-Adour ( Gascon : Preishac d'Ador) is a French municipality with 199 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the municipality of Bastides et Vallons du Gers . The residents call themselves Préchacais / Préchacaises .

Préchac-sur-Adour is located about 34 kilometers southeast of Mirande and 42 kilometers north of Tarbes in the west of the Gers department on the border with the Hautes-Pyrénées department . The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The Adour forms the western municipal boundary in parts.

Neighboring municipalities are Galiax in the north, north-east and east, Jû-Belloc in the south-east and south, Castelnau-Rivière-Basse (in the Hautes-Pyrénées department) in the south-west and west and Goux in the west and north-west.
