Saint-Christaud ( Gascon : Sent Cristau) is a French commune with 65 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitania region ( Midi-Pyrénées until 2015 ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Mirande and the municipality of Cœur d'Astarac en Gascogne . The residents call themselves Saint-Christophins / Saint-Christophinnes .

geography

Saint-Christaud is located around eleven kilometers west-northwest of Mirande and 29 kilometers southwest of Auch in the south of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads.

Neighboring communities are Bassoues in the north, Pouylebon in the east, Bars in the east and south-east, Pallanne in the south, Monlezun in the south-west and Laveraët in the west.
