The municipality of Juillac is located on the southern edge of the Armagnac countryside , 40 kilometers north of Tarbes and 45 kilometers southwest of Auch . The area in the 7.49 km² municipal area is mainly characterized by flat river valleys. In the west, the meandering course of the Arros marks the municipal boundary , in the northeast the Bouès river . The water of all rivers comes from the north-western edge of the Lannemezan plateau ; the rivers all belong to the catchment area of the Adour . Between Arros and Laüs, a narrow chain of hills pushes itself from the south, which reaches a maximum height of 226 m above sea level, while the flat land around the rivers is about 145 m above sea level.
