Ricourt ( Gascon : Ricort) is a French municipality with 67 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Gers in the region Occitania (2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the municipality of Bastides et Vallons du Gers . The residents call themselves Ricourtois / Ricourtoises .

geography

Ricourt is located around 19 kilometers west-southwest of Mirande and 30 kilometers northeast of Tarbes in the south of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The river Laüs forms the municipal boundary in parts.

Neighboring communities are Marciac in the north and north-east, Monlezun in the east, Troncens in the south-east, Blousson-Sérian in the south, Sembouès in the south-west and Saint-Justin in the west.
