Manent-Montané ( Gascon : Manent e Montaner) is a French commune with 92 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitania region (until 2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the municipal association Val de Gers . The residents call themselves Manentois / Manentoises .

geography

Manent-Montané is located around 26 kilometers southeast of Mirande and 35 kilometers south of Auch in the very south of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The Arrats River crosses the municipality to the north.

Neighboring communities are Cabas-Loumassès in the north, Saint-Blancard in the northeast, Lalanne-Arqué in the east and southeast, Mont-d'Astarac in the south, southwest and west and Arrouède in the northwest.
