Sère is a small French commune with 77 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the canton of Astarac-Gimone (until 2015 canton of Masseube ).

The community is located around 50 kilometers northeast of Tarbes and 30 kilometers south of Auch . Neighboring municipalities to Sère are:
- Bellegarde in the north,
- Meilhan in the northeast,
- Monties in the southeast,
- Aussos in the south
- Bézues-Bajon in the southwest and
- Masseube in the west.
The municipality is located north of the Pyrenees , in the drainage zone of the Lannemezan plateau , in the valley of the Arrats river , which tends towards the Garonne in a general northward direction .
Transport links
The community is located away from national traffic routes. Only the D40 département road follows the Arrats valley to Aubiet .
