Bézues-Bajon belonged to the Mirande district from 1793 to 1801. Bézues-Bajon has been part of the Arrondissement of Mirande since 1801 and belonged to the canton of Masseube from 1793 to 2015 . The municipality has only existed in its current form since 1822. At that time, the former municipality of Bézues (1821: 301 inhabitants) merged with parts of the municipality of Pis-Bajon (1821: 305 inhabitants) to form today's municipality.
