Tillac ( Gascon : also Tillac) is a French commune with 281 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gers department in the Occitanie region (until 2015 Midi-Pyrénées ); it belongs to the arrondissement of Mirande and the municipality of Bastides et Vallons du Gers . The residents call themselves Tillacais / Tillacaises .

geography

Tillac is about 11 kilometers southwest of Mirande and 31 kilometers southwest of Auch in the south of the Gers department. The community consists of hamlets, numerous scattered settlements and individual farmsteads. The Bouès partially forms the eastern municipal boundary.

Neighboring communities are Pallanne in the northeast and east, Laas in the east, Miélan in the southeast, Aux-Aussat in the south, Monpardiac in the southwest, Troncens in the west and Monlezun in the west and northwest.
