The District Court of Nittenau was a district court in Nittenau in Bavaria that existed from 1879 to 1973 .

history

In 1838/39 the District Court of Roding was split off from the District Court of Nittenau, which roughly corresponded to the Lower Court of Nittenau of the former Wetterfeld Care Office.

With effect from July 1, 1862, the Roding District Office was set up as a pure administrative authority, the interdependence of the administration of justice and administration in the lower administrative area that had existed until then was lifted. As the initial instance of the lower jurisdiction, the existing regional courts were renamed uniformly in 1879 by the Courts Constitution Act in the district court . The district court in Nittenau was integrated into the district court Schwandorf on July 1, 1973 and dissolved.

building

The former district court building at Rechtsstrasse 11, an L-shaped, two-story neo-baroque building with a facade structure and a mansard hipped roof, risalit-like projections with a dwarf house and tail gable, entrance portal with shell limestone, labeled "1903", is now the town hall. Next to it is the former local court prison.
