The Regional Court of Regensburg ( LG Regensburg ) is a court of ordinary jurisdiction . It is one of 22 regional courts in the Free State of Bavaria .

District Court District

The district of LG Regensburg extends to the independent cities of Regensburg and Straubing and the districts of Cham , Kelheim , Regensburg and Straubing-Bogen .

1,121 lawyers (as of December 31, 2018) are admitted to the Regensburg district court .

Courthouse

The court is located at Augustenstrasse 5 in Regensburg. Access for visitors is via the district court building at Augustenstraße 3.

Superordinate and subordinate courts

The Regional Court of Regensburg is one of five regional courts over which the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg is superordinate; subordinate are the local courts in Cham , Kelheim , Regensburg and Straubing .
