Fürth District Court (Franconia)

The Fürth district court was an older Bavarian district court from 1862 to 1879 with its seat in Fürth . After the Courts Constitution Act came into force in 1879, the regional court was converted into the Fürth district court . At the same time, a new Fürth regional court was established, which was eventually replaced by the Nuremberg-Fürth regional court . This was created by gradually merging with the Nuremberg Regional Court from 1914 and was not completed until 1932.

The older regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities in the Kingdom of Bavaria , which were replaced in their function as administrative authorities by the district offices in 1862 and in their function as courts by the local courts in 1879 . The regional courts formed from 1879 corresponded to the earlier Bavarian appellate courts as courts of second instance.

The district court of the older order

In 1804, the Fürth judicial commission , which acted as the court of first instance, became the royal court in Prussia as part of the general adjustment . Prussian City Court of Fürth . When the Prussian Principality of Ansbach fell to Bavaria in 1806, the Fürth City Court was confirmed as a lower court. In addition to the Fürth City Court, there was the Fürth Regional Court, which was formed in 1862 and was responsible for 18 districts that were taken over from the Cadolzburg and Erlangen district courts. The Fürth district court was responsible for the following places in the

Cadolzburg rent office : the municipalities of Obermichelbach , Tuchenbach and Veitsbronn
Rentamt Erlangen : the communities Boxdorf , Buch , Großgründlach , Höfles , Kraftshof , Neunhof , Ronhof , Sack and Schnepfenreuth and Fürth .

In 1876 the two courts were merged to form the Fürth city and regional court . This was transferred to the Fürth District Court with the Courts Constitution Act 1879 .

At the same time, according to the Courts Constitution Act of 1879, a new Fürth district court was established as a court of second instance. The Nuremberg-Fürth Regional Court was gradually merged with the Nuremberg Regional Court from 1914 (after the construction of the Nuremberg Palace of Justice ) and was not completed until 1932.
