history

The place was created in 9/10. Century and was first mentioned around 1339. It probably got its name after a previous clearing, after which the place was cut out of the forest in a sack-like shape.

Towards the end of the 18th century, Sack formed a real community with Bislohe and Braunsbach . There were 13 properties in Sack. The high court exercised the imperial city of Nuremberg , but this was disputed by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . The Landpflegamt Nürnberg was in charge of the village and community . The landlords were the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste office Cadolzburg (1 estate); the imperial city of Nuremberg: Landesalmosenamt (1 estate), Waldamt Sebaldi (1 estate); Nuremberg owners: von Haller (1 half-yard), von Löffelholz (2 half-yards), von Praun (1 little farm , 1 inn), von Tucher (1 little farm); Count von Bettschart (1 farm, 2 farms, 1 shepherd's house).

As part of the municipal edict, the Buch tax district was formed in 1808 , to which Sack also belonged. In 1813 it was assigned to the rural community of Buch. With the second community edict (1818) the rural community Sack was founded, to which Bislohe and Braunsbach belonged. The municipality was under the administration and jurisdiction of the Erlangen Regional Court and the tax office in Erlangen . In voluntary jurisdiction, 2 properties were subordinate to the Patrimonial Court (PG) Almoshof from 1822 to 1828 , 1 property from 1823 to 1848 to the PG Bislohe , 2 properties from 1825 to 1835 to the PG Gibitzenhof , 1 property from 1822 to 1834 to the PG Lohe and Behringersdorf and 1 property from 1821 to 1836 belonging to the PG Weikershof . From 1862 Sack was administered by the Fürth district office (renamed the Fürth district in 1938 ). In 1862 jurisdiction was transferred to the Fürth District Court , and since 1880 it has been with the Fürth District Court . The financial management was taken over in 1872 by the Rentamt Fürth (renamed Finanzamt Fürth in 1920 ). The community originally had an area of 2.355 km².

The Sack volunteer fire department was founded on October 28, 1894. The connection to the public sewer system took place in the mid-1960s.

On July 1, 1972, Sack was incorporated into Fürth as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
