Erlangen District Court

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Erlangen Regional Court was an older Bavarian regional court with its seat in Erlangen, which existed from 1812 to 1879 . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 . In 1812, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the Erlangen district court was established. This was added to the Rezatkreis , whose capital was Ansbach . The first judge was Wolfgang Heinrich Puchta , who later tried to reform the judiciary.
