The village of Günthersbühl is one of 27 districts of the city of Lauf an der Pegnitz in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia / Bavaria . The Nüschwiesengraben , which runs east of the village, flows further east into the Bitterbach .

history

The place name Günthersbühl is due to the fact that the hamlet is located on the ridge. In the 11th and 12th centuries, former forest areas north of Lauf were reclaimed. Günthersbühl was created there with Nuschelberg and Hub . A forestry hatch already existed in the local area in the Middle Ages. It served the administration of a forest district in the Sebalder Reichswald .
