Veldershof is a small village that belongs to the town of Lauf an der Pegnitz in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia ( Bavaria ).

The hamlet is located in a larger forest clearing on the state road St 2240 , the connecting road between Lauf and Neunhof at an altitude of 350  m above sea level. NN . It is traversed by the Schwarzwinkelgraben, which flows into the Bitterbach together with the Teufelsgraben flowing past it to the east .

Veldershof was originally called Leubingshoff and was only given its current name in the 18th century.

Until 1927 Veldershof was an independent rural community. Due to the small number of inhabitants (less than 100), the economic performance of this municipality was very limited. Therefore, on June 1, 1927, the connection to the city of Lauf took place through a voluntary agreement. This made Veldershof the first of a total of eleven municipalities that were incorporated into the city of Lauf.
