The village of Rudolfshof is one of 27 districts of the city of Lauf in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia / Bavaria and is located in the north of Lauf on Eschenauer Strasse ( State Road St 2240 ) and on the west bank of the Bitterbach , which has formed the Bitterbach Gorge in the local area .

In the meantime the hamlet has developed into a settlement area with around 15 streets. Rudolfshof is bordered by the forest in the west and north. Kotzenhof joins in the south. Rudolfshof emerged from a single courtyard. Nuremberg patricians, the church of Lauf and the monastery of St. Catherine in Nuremberg exercised the manorial rule. From 1796 to 1810 the hamlet was under Prussian occupation. Then he came to the community of Rückersdorf, which belonged to the district of Erlangen. It was not until 1824 that it was assigned to the Lauf district. On June 1, 1927, the municipality of Veldershof , to which Rudolfshof belonged, was incorporated into the town of Lauf an der Pegnitz. The district has its own elementary school.
