The village of Kuhnhof is one of 27 districts of the city of Lauf an der Pegnitz in the district of Nürnberger Land in Middle Franconia in Bavaria .

The place is on the district road LAU 8 between Lauf and Simonshofen . Most of it is surrounded by forests and fields. Three small streams arise in the immediate vicinity of the buildings. Kuhnhof is the seat of a society that also organizes church fairs.

The small place emerged from a single courtyard of a Kuno . Together with Veldershof , Seiboldshof and Vogelhof , after 1806 it formed the independent rural community of Veldershof with a relatively large corridor marking. On June 1, 1927, this community joined the city of Lauf.

The district road LAU 8 bears the name Kuhnhofer Hauptstraße . Other streets are: Im Talesgrund , Im Wasach , Lange Reihe and Am Wasserturm .
