history

The place was created on a clearing, which in the 11./12. Century was carried out by the Nuremberg royal court; hence the part of the name -reuth for clearing. The addition behind the fortress , which was necessary to distinguish it from Kleinreuth near Schweinau , indicates the location outside the city walls, north of the castle. This area was administered by the Land Maintenance Office of the Imperial City of Nuremberg.

Towards the end of the 18th century there were 38 properties behind the fortress in Kleinreuth. The high court exercised the imperial city of Nuremberg , but this was disputed by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth Oberamt Baiersdorf . The rural maintenance office of the imperial city of Nuremberg held the village and community rulership. The landlords were the Cadolzburg caste office (1 inn, 1 estate, 2 estate, 2 houses), the hospital office of the Imperial City of Nuremberg (1 half yard, 2 estates, 4 estate) and the Nuremberg proprietors von Fürer (2 estates, 1 estate), from the landlord (1 Good), von Haller (1 Gütlein) of Holzschuher (1 Gütlein) of Praun (2/4 yards) of Scheurl (1 Good), of Stromer (1 Good), of cloths (5 goods, 6 Gütlein, 1 Wrought). The shepherd's house and the school house were under the authority of the community.

In 1796 Kleinreuth came to Prussia behind the fortress and was administered by the Erlangen Justice and Chamber Office, in 1810 it came to Bavaria . As part of the municipal edict, the tax district and the rural community Großreuth behind the fortress were formed in 1813 , to which Kleinreuth behind the fortress also belonged. With the second community edict (1818), the rural community of Kleinreuth was formed, to which Neuhaus belonged. It was subordinate to the Erlangen Regional Court in administration and jurisdiction and to the Erlangen Rent Office for financial administration . In voluntary jurisdiction, 2 properties were subordinate to the Patrimonial Court (PG) Almoshof (v. Holzschuher) from 1822 to 1834 , 1 property from 1822 to 1828 to the Patrimonial Court (PG) Almoshof (v. Praun), 1 property from 1821 to 1848 to the PG Gebersdorf , 1 property from 1821 to 1836 the PG Leyh , 14 properties from 1823 to 1835 the PG Lohe and 1 property from 1822 to 1835 the PG Lohe and Behringersdorf . From 1826, Kleinreuth was under the administration and jurisdiction of the Nuremberg Regional Court and the Nuremberg Rent Office ( renamed the Nuremberg Tax Office in 1920 ). From 1862, Kleinreuth was administered by the Nuremberg District Office behind the fortress . Jurisdiction has been with the Nuremberg District Court since 1880 . The municipality had an area of 1.007 km².
